17th Annual Village Northwest Unlimited Golf Benefit a Success

Sheldon Iowa —  The 17th annual Village Northwest Unlimited Benefit Golf Tournament was held Monday, July 17th at Landsmeer Golf Club in Orange City with a field of 142 golfers. The benefit event raised over $54,000 in support of the organization’s mission to provide purpose, privacy and dignity for individuals with disabilities.

Taking first place in the men’s first flight with a score of 59 was the team of Larry Sanson, Chris Yaw, Mike Dekkers, and Blake Kruger.

Winning the men’s second flight with a score of 66 was Bob Hoogeveen, Arlan Van Wyk, Len Rohde, and Dixon Granstra.

The women’s flight winner, with a score of 71, was Brooke Wittrock, Ashley Sandersfeld, Rylee Goosen, and Heather Storey.

The winning team in the mixed flight with a score of 67 was Joni De Kok, Karen Pottebaum, Rob Gotto and Nathan Gotto.

During the lifetime of the Village Northwest Unlimited Golf Benefit, over $430,000 has been raised in support of individuals with disabilities.
