The Hastings Broncos, winners of the GPAC tournament in 2013, totaled 98 points and eight first place votes in the poll. Hastings posted a league record of 9-1 in 2013. Morningside, last season’s regular season champion with a record of 9-0-1, was tabbed to finish second with 85 points and two first place votes. Midland was third in the balloting of the league coaches’ with 80 points, while Nebraska Wesleyan was fourth with 71 points.
The 2014 schedule will consist of 10 league games as all 11 teams will compete for the conference crown.
