KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) remains in the No. 1 spot in the latest edition of the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, the national office announced on Monday. The Blue Raiders captured 16-of-20 first-place votes as well as 557 points.
The Red Raiders dropped one spot to fifth in the Nov.13 coaches’ poll, the highest final regular season ranking since the 2013 season. Northwestern is 28-4 on the year, totaling 474 votes in the poll, as they head to the NAIA National Championship on Nov. 28 in Sioux City, Iowa. They are one of five teams from the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) in the top 25; Hastings (3), Dordt (4), Midland (11) and Doane (24). A sixth GPAC team, Morningside, received votes.
