Northwest Iowa — All Siouxland Conference Softball teams have been announced for the 2018 season. The Sheldon Orabs were represented by senior Alexa Vanden Hall on the first team. Senior Nicole Johnson and sophomore Madison Van Meeteren both earned spots on the second team while senior Zoe Koerselman received honorable mention accolades.
Boyden Hull Rock Valley had four players named to the first team including senior Kaitlyn Vander Zwaag along with juniors Taylor Richter, Erika Pottebaum and Keely Swanson.
Sioux Center is represented by a trio of seniors including Kaylea Van Regenmorter, Camryn Cleveringa and Shayla Post.
West Lyon had three players as well. They were juniors Madysn Grotewold and Riley Knobloch and senior Rachel Joachim.
MOC Floyd Valley is represented by Junior Zoe Heemstra and 8th grader Carlin Smith. Two players from George Little Rock Central Lyon round out the first team. They are senior Makayla Witt and Junior Kayla Gerken.
