Caleb Malenke of Orange City has signed a letter of intent to continue his golf career at Northwestern College next fall.
Malenke comes to Northwestern after playing two years for Iowa Western Community College. Malenke had a standout career playing for Unity Christian High School where he earned first team all-state honors three years. As a senior Malenke had the lowest scoring average in class 2A, carding a 36.7 average on nine holes. He helped lead the Knights to a fourth place finish at the state tournament as a junior and is a four-time all-conference player. Malenke plans to major in Business Administration at Northwestern and is the son of Gary and Laura.
“I am very pleased that Caleb has decided to join the Red Raiders next year,” commented head coach Aaron Aberson. “Caleb is a perfect fit for our golf team and our campus community. He has the potential to make an immediate impact on our golf team next fall.”
