Colin Sandbulte To Play Baseball At Northwestern

 Colin Sandbulte ofLittle Rockhas signed a letter of intent to continue his baseball career at Northwestern beginning this fall.

Sandbulte, the son of Jerry and Candy, is a 5-9 infielder from George-Little Rock High School. Sandbulte is a four year letter winner and has hit .273 over the course of his career in 150 at bats. Sandbulte has scored 25 runs, stole 15 bases, had 12 RBI, and collected six doubles in his career. Last season, George-Little Rock went to the Iowa High School State Baseball Tournament and finished with a 13-12 record.

An honor roll member at G-LR and Student Citizenship Award winner, Sandbulte plans to major in Elementary Education and coaching while at Northwestern.

Head coach Brian Wede said, “I am happy Colin will be joining our program next year. Colin is a strong individual with a very high interest in baseball, who will no doubt work hard to improve his skills and be a valuable asset to our program. I look forward to watching him make the transition from high school to college baseball.”
