(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt College Defender women ended the first half of their GPAC basketball season in dramatic fashion Saturday, upsetting the #1 ranked Concordia Bulldogs 96-86 in double overtime. Concordia entered the contest with a 15 game win streak and the top spot in the NAIA Division 2 standings but leave Sioux Center with a 15-1 record overall and 8-1 in the conference while the Defenders improve to 10-9 overall and 5-5 in the GPAC.
The Dordt College Defender women will next travel to Dakota State for a non-conference contest on Wednesday, January 9 at 6:00 pm.

The Defender men’s basketball team will travel to Dakota State on Wednesday, January 9 for a 6:00 pm non-conference contest.
