Davis Bloemendaal GPAC Offensive Player of the Week

Northwestern College quarterback Davis Bloemendaal is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Blomendaal, a senior from Orange City helped lead 12th-ranked Northwestern to a 55-27 win over Midland last weekend in Fremont.
Needing a win to secure a playoff berth Bloemendaal threw for a school record, and matched a GPAC record, with seven touchdown passes in a single game. The senior completed 21-of-28 passes for a career-high 395 yards and also rushed for a game-high 69 yards on nine carries. He moved into third place all-time at Northwestern with 68 passing touchdowns.
Northwestern won its sixth straight game and improved to 8-2 overall. The Red Raiders will travel to Missouri Valley Saturday November 23rd for the opening round of the NAIA Football Championship Series. Kick off will be at noon.
