Women – Kassidy De Jong, Northwestern College (Guard)
Northwestern guard Kassidy De Jong is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women’s basketball player-of-the-week. De Jong, a senior from Hospers, Iowa, averaged 25.5 points, five rebounds and 4.5 assists in a pair of wins over Mount Marty and Morningside. De Jong shot 52% from the field and an impressive 65% from the arc, making 11-of-17 three-pointers. She had a season-high six three-point field goals in the Red Raiders win over Mount Marty.
