Northwestern guard Kassidy DeJong is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women’s basketball player-of-the-week.
DeJong, a freshman from Hospers, Iowa, helped lead Northwestern to a road win over College of Saint Mary in conference play. De Jong scored 30 points and pulled down a career-high 16 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. She made 7-of-8 three-pointers and also dished out four assists. Northwestern evened its GPAC record to 3-3 and 8-4 overall.
