Spencer Van Ravenswaay, a senior at Western Christian High School, has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Blades hockey program.
Van Ravenswaay scored ten goals and had one assist for the Sioux Center Storm. He’s listed as a 6-2, 170 pound left wing.
“I’ve enjoyed watching Spencer develop his hockey skills in Sioux Center for a number of years. He is an extremely coachable young man with a tremendous work ethic. Spencer isn’t afraid to do the dirty jobs and plays a tenacious style that benefits the players around him,” said Blades hockey coach Nate van Niejenhuis.
