Dordt travels to Jamestown on Saturday, September 21 in a GPAC contest in Jamestown, North Dakota kicking off at 1:00.
The Jimmies are 0-3 this season and 0-1 in GPAC play having lost on the road to Hastings last weekend. The other losses for Jamestown and first year head coach Brian Mistro are to Valley City State and Dickinson State.
The Jimmies have been outgained 362-217 per game on offense with 85 yards rushing and 132 passing. Jordan Mann has run for 103 yards on 33 carries at quarterback and Allen Jevning has 74 yards on 25 carries. Mann is 35-67 passing for 397 yards with five touchdowns and one interception. Mann’s favorite target is Garrett Mitchell with 16 catches for 249 yards and a 15.6 yards per catch average with four touchdowns.
Dordt is 1-2 this season with a 34-21 loss to Keiser (Florida) to open the season and a 30-9 win over Waldorf the following week. Last week Dordt faced defending NAIA National Champion Morningside and lost a 56-14 decision to the Mustangs.
The Defenders have run for 226 yards per game and passed for 129. Teams have gained 218 yards on the ground per game against Dordt and have passed for 228.
Dordt is back at home on Saturday, September 28 to face Dakota Wesleyan before taking a week off for a bye in the GPAC schedule the following weekend.
Jamestown will travel to Northwestern on September 28 in its next game.
