Sioux City Iowa — Dordt College opened pool play in the 2015 NAIA Volleyball National Championships Tuesday evening at Sioux City at the Tyson Event Center. The Defenders opened with a 3-0 setback to Georgetown of Kentucky. Pool play for Dordt continues at 5:45 Wednesday afternoon against Viterbo of Wisconsin. Pool play will come to an end on Thursday.
The Defenders are in a pool with some perennial powers in Georgetown (Kentucky), Viterbo (Wisconsin) and Olivet Nazarene (Illinois).
