Dordt’s Cliff Warner Named To All Tournament Team

Cliff Warner, a junior on the Dordt College men’s basketball team, was named to the NAIA Division II National Tournament All-Tournament team at the conclusion of the event on Tuesday, March 13 at the College of the Ozarks at Point Lookout, Missouri.

Warner averaged 21.7 points with 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists during the three games Dordt played at the tournament.  Warner made 17-33 field goals, was 13-25 from beyond the three-point line and converted 18-21 free throws.  Warner played nearly 36 minutes per game on average.

The Defenders concluded the 2011-2012 season with a 30-5 overall record and advanced to the NAIA Division II quarterfinal round.

The all-tournament team consists of ten members selected by the tournament committee.
