Hull, Iowa — Western Christian High School has announced that Alex Durbin has been hired to be the Girls Soccer Coach at Western Christian.
Durbin is an Omaha, Nebraska native and received his B.A. from Dordt College in 2017. He is currently pursuing his M.A. at Dordt College in sports leadership. Durbin competed in both soccer and volleyball at Dordt College and was an all-conference performer for the soccer team where his 22 goal season in 2016 ranks second all-time in the history of the program. He also played semi-professionally in 2018 for an affiliate of Sporting Kansas City in the USL League 2.
Durbin says he looks forward to this opportunity to coach at Western Christian with such a great group of girls. He’s looking forward to March 18th coming around and for the team to be able to get on the pitch.
