Eekhoff Honored At State Tournament

Western Christian boys basketball coach Jim Eekhoff was recognized as the national high school boy’s basketball coach of the year Friday night at halftime of the Class 2A Championship Game in Des Moines.

The Wolfpack head coach earned the honor from the National Federation of State High School Associations Coaches Association. A presentation will also be made at the NFSHS national convention.

Under his direction the 30-year veteran has guided Western Christian boy’s basketball to nearly 600 wins and 6 State Titles. This past season Eekhoff again led the Wolfpack to the Substate Finals.
