Football Broadcast Preview for Friday September 20th

Northwest Iowa — Non-District high school football comes to a close with  Sheldon Hosting Estherville Lincoln Central for homecoming and Boyden Hull Rock Valley hosting Sergeant Bluff Luton in Hull.

Sheldon is 1-2 on the year coming off a home loss to Le Mars. The Midgets are also 1-2 coming off a home loss to Unity Christian last Friday.

Sheldon Head Coach Tyler Lloyd on this weeks opponent.

This weeks keys begin with reducing turnovers and penalties.

Midgets Head Coach Ryan Rezac talks about the Orabs balance on offense.

For Estherville Lincoln Central the key is to be explosive. Rezac explains.

Boyden Hull Rock Valley is home to Sergeant Bluff Luton. With the Warriors at #7 in the latest 3A Radio Iowa Poll it’s the fourth ranked opponent in as many weeks for the Nighthawks. Boyden Hull Rock Valley comes into the contest in Hull at 0-3 for the season while the Warriors are 2-1.

Head Coach Cory Brandt feels Sergeant Bluff Luton is one of the best teams the Nighthawks will see all season.

Brandt talks about the importance of consistency this week.

Sergeant Bluff Luton Head Coach Justin Smith and his team have a great deal of respect for the Boyden Hull Rock Valley program.

Smith sees the game coming down to blocking and tackling.
