Four Red Raiders To Play In NAIA Senior Bowl

Four Red Raiders were selected to play in the NAIA Senior Football Classic as announced by the national office.

Paxton De Haan, Jacob Kalogonis, Sean Powell and Josh Tornow were among the 116 seniors from around the country and representing 42 schools chosen to play in front of fans and pro scouts alike.

De Haan, a three-year letter winner along the o-line, earned all-conference honors last fall (2018). Kalogonis, a 2017 All-American and three-time all-conference pick, ranks fourth all-time in rushing yards (3,691) and fifth in rushing touchdowns (38). Tornow, a three-year letterwinner along the offensive line, started eight games in 2018. Powell, a four-year starter at linebacker, is a two-time all-GPAC pick and is the lone member of the Raider D on the 116-player squad.

The inaugural Senior Football Classic is set to be held at Memorial Stadium on December 14 in Savannah, Ga., one week prior to the 2019 NAIA Football National Championship in Ruston, La.
