GPAC Puts Five Teams in NAIA Division II Women’s Top 25 Northwestern Ranked Number 8

Concordia Nebraska from the GPAC has claimed the top spot in the first edition of the 2012-13 NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25. The national office made the announcement on Tuesday.
Concordia collected all 13 first place-votes and 343 points for its second-straight No. 1 ranking.
Moving up a spot to No. 2 is College of the Ozarks with 325 points. Indiana Wesleyan also moved up one position, from Number 4 to Number 3 collecting 322 points. Number 4 Morningside climbed one spot with 316 points, while Number 5 Briar Cliff rounds out the top five notching 297 points.
The Northwestern Red Raiders came in at number 8 with Hastings number 25 as the Great Plains Athletic Conference had three teams in the top five, four in the top ten and five teams total in the top 25.
