Heemskerk Signs With NWC Soccer

Kailey Heemskerk of Sheldon has signed a letter of intent to continue her soccer career at Northwestern College beginning next fall.

Heemskerk is a 5’7″ sweeper/defender who had a standout three-year career playing for Western Christian High School. Heemskerk earned three letters playing for the Wolfpack. She helped lead her team to a 12-8 record last season. She is also a part of the National Honor Society and has been on the honor roll every year she attended Western Christian. Heemskerk plans to major in exercise science at Northwestern and is the daughter of Wade and Kim.

“Kailey is a solid defender who has been a big part of a very good program over the last four years” Commented head coach Ben Karnish. “She will be a great player to have in our program not only on the field, but as a teammate and in the classroom as well. It will be fun to see her grow at NWC.”
