Hot Shooting Generals Too Much For Pioneers

Orange City, Iowa — The Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals had 5 players in double figures and ten three pointers on their way to a 79-62 win over the Okoboji Pioneers Monday night in Orange City.

The Generals jumped out to a quick lead and after one were in front 25-13. At the halftime intermission, Sibley-Ocheyedan had a 43-22 advantage. After three, it was 61-41, and Sibley-Ocheyedan came away with the 79-62 victory.

The Generals had five players in double figures. Grant Brouwer had a team high 17 points, Caleb Mayer and Carter Brouwer each had 15, Lane Tangeman added fourteen and Beau Jenness put in ten. Okoboji was got a game high 19 from Chris Halbur, and Lucas Lorenzen put in 18.

With the win the Generals improve to 10-12 and will take on Boyden-Hull in Hull on Thursday. Okoboji ends their year at 8-14
