Hummel, Zomermaand Take Home Postseason Honors

Two Northwestern College golfers earned all-conference honors as announced by the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) office Friday.

Courtney Hummel (Hawarden, Iowa) earned first team honors after placing 13th in the four-round, 72-hole GPAC Championship. Hummel had a season scoring average of 88, tied for lowest on the team, and recorded one top 10 finish. Hummel closed her career with a 90.6 career scoring average.

Chanda Zomermaand (Sioux Center, Iowa) claimed honorable mention accolades with a 17th place finish at the conference championship. The freshman matched Hummel with a team-best 88.0 scoring average and recorded one top five and two top 10 finishes this season.

Northwestern College finished fourth out of 11 teams at the GPAC Championship.
