Des Moines — Brackets for the upcoming regional girls basketball tournaments are out. In Class 3A the three ranked teams are in two different regions. Sheldon will open tournament play at Sioux Center in Region 1. Spirit Lake was also assigned to Region 1. Cherokee was assigned to Region 2.
In Class 2A the three ranked teams will go in three different directions with Western Christian in Region 1. Okoboji was assigned to Region 2 and defending State Champ Unity will go south and compete in Region 8.
