The Iowa High School Athletic Association released the first two rounds of the high school football playoffs early Saturday morning.
The pairings were released as brackets, showing the first round and quarterfinal matchups, but these are not “true” brackets as they will be re-seeded before the semifinals.
Boyden-Hull\Rock Valley will play host to Spirit Lake in Rock Valley in 2A Bracket B. The winner of that matchup will play the winner of Southeast Valley and OABCIG.
West Lyon will be at South Central Calhoun, while West Sioux hosts Treynor in Class 1A Bracket A. The winners there will play each other in the next round.
Class A features West Hancock at Hinton and Akron-Westfield at Westwood, Sloan in Bracket C. The winners of those contests will play each other in the next round.
