Jordan Bos to Join Defender Track and Cross Country Programs

jordan-bosSioux Center, Iowa — Jordan Bos, a senior at Unity Christian High School has announced her intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender cross country and track programs.

Bos has been a part of the Unity cross country program for four years and the Knights have earned state meet berths in all four of those seasons.  The Knights were team runner-up in 2013 and placed sixth in 2015.   She was the conference individual champion in 2015 and earned all-conference honors in both 2013 and 2015 and claimed academic all-conference honors three times.  Bos has been a part of three state qualifying 4 x 800 relays and helped the Knights win the state race in 2014 along with a pair of fourth place finishes in 2015 and 2016. She has personal bests of 2:23 in the 800; 4:56 in the 1,500 and 19:29 in the 5,000.

 Dordt College cross country coach Nate Wolf said, “I am excited to have Jordan join our program. Jordan is a multi-talented and driven young lady who will impact our cross country and middle distance programs in a variety of ways.  Jordan is a great fit for our program in terms of her running potential, academic abilities, and strength of character.  I look forward to working with Jordan and seeing her impact across the full spectrum of the Dordt College campus.”

Jordan is the daughter of Matt and Teri Bos of Orange City, Iowa.  She plans to study Exercise Science at Dordt College.
