Jordan Vogel Joins Dordt Defender 1000 Point Club

With his fourth point of the afternoon Saturday, Dordt College senior Jordan Vogel scored his 1,000th point as a Defender.
Vogel, playing in his 100th career game, ended with 11 points and has 1,007 career points. The 6-7 post player from Rock Valley, Iowa, is converting 71 percent of his field goals this season and is averaging 13.0 points per game for the 6-0 Defenders.
Vogel ranks 27th overall in points scored and is the 29th men’s basketball player to score 1,000 points at Dordt. The Western Christian graduate also has 567 career rebounds and ranks 13th in that category.
Dordt will face Doane College this Saturday, November 17 as the GPAC season opens for both teams.
