Kassidy Van Voorst Earns GPAC All Conference Honors

kassidy_vanvoorstOrange City Iowa — Dordt senior Kassidy Van Voorst has earned first team GPAC All-Conference honors for the second time in as many seasons.

The Senior outfielder from Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley started 46 games this season hitting .319 with an on base percentage of .396 and drove in 19 runs while scoring 48 runs. On the base paths Van Voorst was caught steeling just once in 52 attempts.

in 2015 she started all 47 games for the Defenders, led the country in stolen bases with 57, batted .297 and scored 47 runs. She had 46 hits, for doubles and six triples with 22 runs batted in while claiming All-GPAC first-team honors and NFCA 2nd-team all-Central Region accolades.
