Kellenberger To Continue Football at NWC

football 1Orange City, Iowa — Beau Kellenberger has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next year.

Kellenberger is a 6’2”, 220-pound offensive and defensive linemen who played three years for the West Lyon High School football team. Kellenberger is a two-time all-district selection and helped lead the Wildcats to a postseason playoff berth and a 6-4 overall record this year. He totaled 58 tackles and two sacks on defense and helped pave the way for one of the top rushing offenses in the state as a member of the o-line. Kellenberger was also a member of a West Lyon team that was the state runner-up in 2014. He is the son of Ladell and Michelle.

“Beau is a great addition to either our offensive or defensive line,” commented head coach Kyle Achterhoff. “He won our “Big-Man Challenge” at our camp last summer and has had a great career at West Lyon. It will be fun to have him join his brother, Tate, as a Red Raider.”
