Kendra De Jong GPAC Women’s Basketball Player of The Week

Northwesstern logoNorthwestern forward Kendra De Jong is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week.

De Jong, a senior from Hospers, Iowa, helped lead Northwestern to a 2-0 record last week. The senior averaged a double-double of 16.5 points and 12 rebounds per game in wins over Dordt and #3 Concordia. De Jong scored 15 points and pulled down 17 rebounds in the Red Raiders 63-51 upset win over #3 Concordia on Saturday.

Northwestern improved to 17-6 overall and 11-5 in the GPAC.
