Kleinwolterink Signs To Play Football at NWC

Northwestern logoJackson Kleinwolterink has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

Kleinwolterink is a 6’2”, 205-pound linebacker who played two years for Western Christian High School. Kleinwolterink posted 32 tackles, one sack and two fumble recoveries despite playing in just four games due to injury. He earned honorable mention all-district honors and helped lead the Wolfpack to the 1A state championship in 2016 and a state runner-up finish in 2015. Kleinwolterink plans to major in business at Northwestern and is the son of Keith and Kristin.

“We are very excited to have Jackson become a Red Raider and join our football team,” commented head Northwestern coach Matt McCarty. “Jackson comes from an outstanding program and has been well coached throughout his high school career. He will be a great fit at linebacker for us.”
