Krohn To Run For NWC

Northwestern College logoOrange City, Iowa —Alyssa Krohn (Orange City, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her cross country and track and field careers at Northwestern College next year.

Krohn lettered four years in cross country and has three letters competing for the MOC-Floyd Valley track and field team heading in her final season. Krohn was part of two teams that qualified for the state cross country meet and has personal bests of 21:23 in a 5K, 12:19 in the 3000m and 5:47 in the 1500m. An outstanding student who is a member of the National Honor Society and honor roll, Krohn plans to major in Nursing at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Chris and Carrie.

“Alyssa will be a great addition to our women’s cross country and track and field teams,” commented head coach Scott Bahrke. “She is an outstanding teammate who encourages others and always puts the team above self. Alyssa will continue to improve as a distance runner and we are very excited to have her run for the Red Raiders.”
