Minnick To Throw For NWC Track And Field

Orange City, Iowa — William Minnick of Orange City has signed a letter of intent to continue his track and field career at Northwestern College this fall.

Minnick competed three years for the MOC-Floyd Valley High School track and field team. Minnick was the Siouxland Conference runner-up in shotput and placed third in discus as a senior. He has personal bests of 44.09.5 in shot and 124-9 in discus. A member of the National Honor Society, Minnick plans to major in secondary education and history at Northwestern. He is the son of Bill and Ann.

“Will is going to make an excellent addition to our Red Raiders track and field team,” said Head Coach Scott Bahrke. “We are excited to have Will throw for us and look forward to the contributions he will make both for our team and our campus.”
