MOC Floyd Valley Boys State Tournament Bound

The top ranked MOC Floyd Valley Dutch boys basketball team is state tournament bound following a 76-52 Class 3A Substate win over Storm Lake on the Buena Vista Campus Monday night.
MOC-FV, the top-seed will face the eighth seed Sioux City Heelan in the State 3A Quarterfinals Tuesday, March 6th at 3:30 pm.
Keegan Mulder led the way hitting 5 three-point baskets as the Dutch took a 35-7 first quarter lead. At the half the lead was 55-24. at the end of three quarters MOC Floyd Valley was in front 60-41 going on to win 76-52. Mulder would finish with 8 three-point baskets on the night.
With their ticket to the State 3A Tournament punched the Dutch will bring the Siouxland Conference total to three teams that are headed to the State Boys Basketball Tournament. In a Substate doubleheader Saturday night at Tyson Event Center the Boyden Hull Comets earned a spot in the 1A field and the Sioux Center Warriors earned their way into the 2A elite eight.
