MOC Floyd Valley Hosts 12 Team Track Meet

moc_Floyd Valley logoOrange City Iowa — Sioux Center and Hartley Melvin Sanborn posted wins in the girls competition at the Dutch Relays Tuesday. Boys team titles were claimed by Spirit Lake and Sibley Ocheyedan.

First place finishes for the Orabs included a strong day for Keri Siebrecht in the Wheelchair competition. Siebrecht finished first in theĀ 100 Yard Dash, the 200 yard dash, 400 yard dash and the shot put.

In the Girls 400 Meter Hurdles Kayla Van Meeteren was first in 1:14.99 followed by Orab team mate Maddy Tolk in a time of 1:17.00.

In the Girls 4×100 Meter Shuttle Hurdle Relay Sheldon finished first 1:11.44 followed by Sibley-Ocheyedan with a time of 1:12.00.

In the Girls Long Jump Ashlynn Albrecht went 14-11.00 followed by Jennie Riedemann of Hartley Melvin Sanborn with a distance of 14-10.00.

The 4 x 800 Meter Relay team was first in a time of 11:17.05. South O’Brien was second at 11:48.71.
