MOC Floyd Valley Takes 3A Consolation Trophy

The Dutch trailed at the end of the first quarter 13-12 before moving in front at halftime 26-20. At the end of three the lead was 42-34 as the Dutch went on to win it 64-48.
The Dutch had two players in double figures as Justin Van Kalsbeek and Levi Jansen hit for 16 points each. Davenport Assumption got a game high 22 points from Billy Daniel.
MOC Floyd Valley had a big edge at the free throw line hitting 18-of-27 while Assumption connected on 7-of-14. Two other stats were dominated by the Dutch. They out rebounded Davenport 34-26 and held a 32-5 edge in bench scoring.
The game featured 10 lead changes and 6 tie scores. With the win MOC Floyd Valley closes the season at 22-5. Assumption ends the year at 19-8.
