MOC Floyd Valley Wins Girls Title at Storm Lake Invite

MOC logoStorm Lake hosted the 16 team Tornado Cross Country Invite Tuesday afternoon. The girl’s title went to MOC Floyd Valley with Algona winning the boys title.

For the girls MOC Floyd Valley scored 38 team points with Unity at 60 and Spencer at 62. The individual title went to Bethany Dykstra of MOC Floyd Valley in a time of 14:42.67. Her team mate Caroline Ascherl was third in 14:57.53.

The JV team title went to Unity at 21 points followed by MOC Floyd Valley at 34. Erin Bandstra of Unity won the JV individual title in 17:06.58.
The boy’s varsity title went to Algona at 60 followed by Fort Dodge at 89 and Unity at 119 team points. In the JV competition David Mortenson of MOC Floyd Valley was second in a time of 18:23.23.
