Orange City, Iowa — Cade Moser, of Rock Valley, has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

Moser is a 6’3”, 165-pound wide receiver and defensive back who played three years for the Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley High School football team. Moser led the Nighthawks with 47 catches for 939 yards and nine touchdowns, earning first team all-state honors at wide receiver as a senior. Moser combined for nearly 500 yards in the return game, averaging a remarkable 20 yards gained every time he touched the ball. On defense, he totaled 13.5 tackles to go with two interceptions and two fumble recoveries. He helped lead the Nighthawks to the state semifinals with a 10-2 record as a senior and to the state championship his junior year. Moser earned all-district honors and plans to major in elementary education at Northwestern. He is the son of Brian and Melissa.

“Cade is an explosive athlete who had an outstanding career playing for a top-notch high school program at Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley,” commented Northwestern head coach Matt McCarty. “He is a threat to score every time he touches the ball and will be a dynamic playmaker for our offense. We are thrilled that Cade will be part of our Red Raider football program and look forward to the impact he will have on our team and campus community.”
