Date posted - October 26, 2013
Sheldon, IA — The 2nd Annual KIWA Radio/Northwest Iowa Community College Thunder Road Race took place under sunny skies Saturday morning in Sheldon. Approximately 125 runners, many dressed in halloween costumes, braved the chilly temperatures to enjoy the race, which got underway at 9:00 am in front of the Lifelong Learning and Recreation Center on the NCC Campus.
In addition to the runners, an army of volunteers were also on hand to make sure the race went smoothly.
