Nineteen School Take Park in Orab Girls Relays

trackThe Sheldon Girls Orab Track Invite was held Monday at Orab Field. The Class A team title went to MOC Floyd Valley. The Class B title went to Western Christian with the Class C title won by Central Lyon.

MOC Floyd Valley rode the strength of their relay teams to the win with the distance medley, 4 by 200, 4 by 100, 4 by 400 and sprint medley relay teams all taking first place.
Top three finishes for the Orabs were turned in by Alegra St. Clair who was third in the 100 meter dash in 13.31. First place went to Rebekah Muilenburg of MOC Floyd Valley with a time of 12.9. Caitlin Cain was third in the 100 meter low hurdles in 16.23. Alie Meister of Spencer was first in 14.95.

Western was led by Kim Kroeze who won the 100 and 400 low hurdles. The Wolfpack also won the 4 by 200 and 4 by 400 meter relays. Sibley Ocheyedan’s Leah Seivert won both the 3000 and 1500 meter runs. The Generals were also first in the distance and sprint medleys.

Central Lyon got multiple wins from Lexi Ackerman who was first in the high jump and 100 low hurdles. The Lions 4 by 200, 4 by 400 and sprint medley also turned in first place finishes.
