Northwestern Signs Two Minnesota Track Athletes For Next Season

Northwestern College logoOrange City, Iowa — The Northwestern Red Raiders have signed a pair of Minnesota track & field stars for next year.

Zachary Gelineau of Lakeville, and Jacob Holm of Champlin have signed letters of intent to continue their track and field careers at Northwestern College next year. Holm will also run cross country for the Red Raiders.

Gelineau competed three years for the Lakeville South High School track and field team. The 6’3” jumper has personal bests of 5’6” in the high jump and 13’00” in the pole vault. Gelineau plans to major in biology at Northwestern and is the son of Greg and Sherry.

Holm is a 5’11” distance runner how lettered two years for the Champlin Park High School cross country team. Holm was named the team’s rookie of the year in 2011 and has a personal best of 17:46 in the 5K. A member of the National Honor Society, Holm plans to major in Actuarial Science at Northwestern. He is the son of Richard and Margaret.
