NWC’s Badura Earns All-Region Honor, Hits Hole-In-One During Practice Round

Postseason accolades continue to pour in for the Red Raider golf team as Caleb Badura was named to the NAIA PING All-Region team announced by Collegiate Golf earlier this week.

Badura, the 2019 GPAC Champion and Player of the Year, was named to the 15 player All-Central Region team and one of 60 players from all of the NAIA to receive the honor. The freshman led the Red Raiders with a 73.6 scoring average this season, tied for the second lowest season average in program history. Badura won two meets, finished in the top 10 five times and tied for 59th at the NAIA Men’s Golf National Championship held this week in Mesa, Ariz.

One day after completing play at the 2019 NAIA Men’s Golf National Championship, Caleb Badura recorded his first ever hole-in-one during a practice round at Troon North Golf Club.

Badura aced the par 3, 174 yard 13th hole with a seven iron.
