Orab Coach Claude Struve Submits Resignation Effective June 30 of This Year

At Wednesday night’s Sheldon Community School Board meeting Orab head boy’s basketball coach Claude Struve submitted his resignation effective June 30th of this year. Struve is retiring after 36 years with the Sheldon District. He is in his 33rd year as head coach.
This season the Orab boys are off to a 13-1 start and 10-1 in the Siouxland Conference. Sheldon is currently ranked number 6 in the latest Radio Iowa Boy’s Basketball Poll.
Coming into the start of this season coach Struve had guided the Orab Boy’s Basketball Program to a 407 – 282 won loss record.
