Okoboji Iowa — The Sheldon girls golf team was three strokes better than MOC Floyd Valley Thursday afternoon at Woodlyn Hills. Sheldon put together a team total 194 to the 197 of the Lady Dutch. Okoboji was third at 197.
Medalist honors went to Megan Grimes of Sibley Ocheyedan at 44. Marra Oldenkamp and Sierra Seivert of Sheldon were next at 45. Also at 45 was Martha Stein of Okoboji. The rest of the top six included Hannah Butler of Okoboji at 46 and Emma DeJong of MOC Floyd Valley at 48.
Sheldon’s 197 included Kaitlyn Vote at 51, Brailey Grant at 53 and Gabby Phillips in at 59.
