Orabs Post Win Over West Lyon

The Sheldon Orab Volleyball Team posted a 3-0 home win over West Lyon Tuesday night. the set scores were 25-10, 25-17 and 25-6. Jessica Van Beek was the kills leader with 11 followed by Marti Vogel with 7. Allie Jongewaard had 27 assists and went 10-of-11 serving. Kayla Johnson was the serve leader going 22-of-22 while Vogel went 18-of-18. Johnson led the team in digs with 22. Jena Van Marel was the block leader with 4.
With the win Sheldon improves to 17-0 and will be in Orange City Thursday night for a battle of top four teams in Class 3A. The top ranked Orabs square off against defending State Champion MOC Floyd Valley. The Lady Dutch are ranked number four.
