Rensink To Play Basketball At Northwestern

Tori Rensink of Sioux Center has signed a letter of intent to continue her basketball career at Northwestern College next year.

Rensink is a 5’7″ guard who played three years for the Sioux Center High School basketball team. A second team all-conference selection as a junior, Rensink averaged 8.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and two assists per game in leading the Warriors to the 3A regional finals last year. Also a two-year letter winner in volleyball, Rensink is and honor roll student and plans to major in social work and psychology at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Darren and Lisa.

“Tori is a great addition to our basketball program and to Northwestern College,” commented Red Raider Head Coach Chris Yaw. “Tori has been part of a very successful high school program and understands what is takes to be part of a winning team. She is a high character person and is committed to doing well in all areas of life. Tori had an abbreviated senior season due to injury but worked hard to get back on the court and we are excited to watch her continued growth as a player and person.”
