Rock Valley Standout Signs With Northwestern

volleyballOrange City, Iowa — Maddie Godfredsen (Rock Valley, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College next year.

Godfredsen is a 6’1” middle hitter who played three years for Rock Valley High School. Godfredsen averaged a team-best 1.8 kills per set and ranked second on the team with 24 blocks as a senior. A member of both the honor roll and National Honor Society, Godfredsen plans to major in biology/health professions and pre-medicine at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Chris and Kathy.

“Maddie is a great addition to our campus community and our volleyball team,” commented head coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. “With her length, she will provide nice depth to our front row. We are excited to welcome Maddie to the Northwestern College volleyball family.”
