Schilling Signs With Minnesota West

Minnesota West BluejaysWorthington, Minnesota — Central Lyon/George-Little Rock High School football standout Thomas Schilling has accepted a scholarship offer and has committed to the Minnesota West Football Program in Worthington, Minnesota.  The Minnesota West Bluejays are members of the Minnesota College Athletic Conference.

Schilling is a first team All-District Receiver, who helped the Central Lyon/George-Little Rock Lions to a 6-4 season and a playoff berth in the Iowa High School Football Playoffs this past season.  He had 24 receptions for 576 yards, averaging 24.0 yards per catch, along with 3 touchdowns in the Lions 2014 season.

Schilling is a 3-sport performer who also excels on the track for the George-Little Rock Track Program, where he qualified for the Iowa State Track and Field Meet last spring in the long jump. He is also a member of the GLR basketball program.

Schilling is the son of Kenny and Lois Schilling, and is projected as a split end for Minnesota West.
