In a boys golf sectional postponed from last Thursday Spencer posted the top team score Monday at the Spencer Golf and Country Club. The Tigers shot a 328 to top Humbolt who carded a 333. MOC Floyd Valley also advanced as a team to the District round with a 343.
Individual qualifiers included medalist Blake Berry of Storm Lake at 77. Also advancing to the District tournament was Casey Cunningham of Spencer at 80 along with team mate Brady Swanson who was the fourth individual qualifier at 82.
