baseballNorthwest Iowa — Make up games and tournement match ups high lighted the Friday sports schedule. Sheldon  played host to state ranked Estherville Lincoln Central 1-0 in non conference baseball. The Midgets are ranked number 4 in the latest 3A poll.

It was a pitchers dual at Orab Field with both pitchers going the full 7 innings. The Midgets Briar Rowley got the win. He tossed a 3 hitter at Sheldon walking 1 and striking out 9. Parker Nissen countered with a 6 hitter giving up 3 walks while striking out 2. Rowley helped his own cause going 3-for-4 at the plate. Lucas Gardner drove in the games only run. For Sheldon Cody Van Meeteren, Travis Sterler and Tyler Johnson each had a hit for the Orabs.
