Sheldon & MOC-FV Are State Volleyball Tournament Bound!!! (UPDATED WITH TEAM PHOTOS)

volleyballThe Sheldon Orabs and MOC-Floyd Valley Dutch both advanced to the 2013 Iowa State High School Volleyball Tournament in Class 3A.

The 2nd-ranked Orabs took a straight-set victory over Garner-Hayfield/Ventura in a contest played at Estherville Tuesday evening.  Game scores were 25-16, 25-18, 25-15.  The Orabs will now advance to the Class 3A Tournament at U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids next week.

The top-ranked MOC-Floyd Valley Dutch punched their ticket to the State Tournament, beating Algona in straight-sets, 25-13, 25-20, 25-15, in a match played at the Spencer High School Fieldhouse Tuesday evening.  The Dutch will also be Cedar Rapids bound next week.
